Cancellations

No matter if it is telehealth

or at the office

Time is still time—valuable.

So: Unless you’re sick or have to go to a funeral, you do have to pay if you cancel. I can’t bill insurance.

The other exception is if you’re taking a vacation. I need two weeks notice if you’re going away.

It sounds strict, but the reason is that therapy can be the last thing on a person’s list of things to do. It shouldn’t be that way. Also, other people want/need the time. This is about fostering a respectful practice.

Nobody stealing anyone’s time.
